We got "Approval Notice Sent" emails 6 days back. I received my EAD 3 days back but haven't received my wife's yet.
Has anyone filed for Replacement EAD? Do we need to wait 30 days from the date we received the approval email? How long does it take usually to receive a Replacement card?
Please share your experiences.

"Card production ordered" is the first status that you will see and then it will change to "Approval notice sent". Tentatively, Your card will be postmarked with the date when your status changed to "Approval notice sent" and it takes upto 4 calendar days to receive the card through mail. Usually, approval notice goes to attorney on file for 765, if you have filed G28 otherwise you will receive it. Call USCIS and find out whether the card is ordered then ask for follow-up actions and decide whether to file for replacement card. There is no separate form for replacement cards - you will still be using same 765 form; I guess, same processing time applies - you may expedite by taking infopass after receiving the receipt notice for your replacement card by providing the letter from the employer. Hope this helps.

I was a big fan of PhotoSig when I discovered it about a year ago.. I loved to look through others photos and also share some to have critiqued.. Here's my old user page over there:

I have got LUD on my AP (approved last year) on 7/27/08 (sunday).

We did not renew her I-94. She's my dependent and I'm EAD. She doen't even have an EAD, I haven't appllied for her yet.
Our I-94 are expired now and our AP too. If I need to travel, I will need to apply for a new AP.
BTW, we entered through Denver (DIA).
All you need is your passport and AP. That's all!!!!

- I'm under EB2 - RoW category. My I-140 just got approved and I was preparing to file for my I-485 (current)
- I went to the Bahamas last week to get my 3 year H1B renewal stamping but it was denied due to employer issues and I was forced to go back to India.
- Now I cant go back to US to file my 485. My company is still offering to help me on my GC.
I'm still reeling from the shock of my H1B denial. What are my options now?
Is Consular processing the way to go? Will loosing my H1B status have any effect on CP?
Should I start CP immediately or can I wait a few months to try to get back to the US on a new H1B?
Can anyone point me to some online materials detailing CP.

What are the requirements to port from eb3 to eb2 with just an i 140 approved? I am happy with my current employer. I have worked with this company for 5 years now. I have a master's from a well known university in the US. At the time of applying for gc, attorney and company advised to file in eb3.

If you don't know something please keep quiet. Don't spread nonsense rumors. First of all the primary GC applicant is not affected in anyway. Spouse GC will show up anywhere between 7 to 12 months depending upon how the documentation is done.
This might delay your GC for another 2years. Mainly due to security concerns after 9 / 11. Better option is to get your GC and then apply as family. Will take at least 4 to 5 years.

Following up on my original post, NRIs flying in to India from swine flu-affected countries are not only being screened at the airports, teams of doctors are even going to their homes (http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Swine-flu-reaches-India/articleshow/4465683.cms) to do additional check-ups. New member here. I have been watching the forums occassionally. My PD is June 2002 EB3 and here is my situation from USCIS case status:
1. I first applied for I765 and I485 on 08/10/2007 and got EAD for 1 year. According to https://egov.uscis.gov my status was "APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION".
2. Then I by myself applied for renewal of EAD exactly after 1 year on 08/19/2008 and got EAD approved for 3 years. According to https://egov.uscis.gov, the form that I applied for was I765 and status again was "APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION".
These were the only two entries on my status on https://egov.uscis.gov. So far so good.
3. I decided to log on to this site this morning to check my status and saw a third entry in my case. It says the form number is I485 and they receieved it on 04/20/2009 and the case status is "APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS".
I didnt do anything on 04/20/2009. So it seems like the I485 that I submitted along with I765 on 08/10/2007 was finally receieved by USCIS on 04/20/2009?. When I click on my case number, it says "On July 6, 2007, we received this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case." and that it is with Texas Service Center. I checked TSC timings and looks like they are at 08/30/2007. Is this the date they first receieved my application (July 6, 2007) or the last update date (04/20/2009 .... look at #3 above). If it is the latter, I am still three years behind. If it is the first application date, then I have some hopes.
Sorry for the long post and to make you read all this. Any help will be appreciated.

I didnt get your analysis on "so i could possibly face a 7 day gap in work authorization". I am also eagerly waiting for my EAD but I was curious what makes you think about a gap of 7 days. Is it 'coz you complete 60 days of filing on Aug 17th and urs expires on 10th. But why 60 days, I thought it has to be 90 days before a request can be made for interim EAD. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I am a Citizen that is petitioning my husband of 5 years. We received a letter in March'08 to be present at an interview in Charlotte, NC. We gathered all of the required documentation to provide. Once there, and called in with the Immigration officer, we began our interview process. She was satisfied with all of the information, and tangible proof, we provided. She asked my husband for his passport in order to stamp his I-551 and that meant we were approved. Unfortunately, my husband's passport had been expired for some time and she could not stamp it. What do we do? He works and it will cause heartache and financial stress if he looses his job as the company has strict rules about what documentation you must present in order to remain employed. Please help. Since we have not received a letter from USCIS and the status is still pending, we are unsure of what we should do at this point. Any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
