Get a good lawyer and ask them to file a Nunc Pro Tunc. Since you are under 6 months it shouldn't be a big deal.

I took the gif into fireworks, looked at in the 4 by preview mode, then took it down to 32 colors... that makes it 16k .

it is a matter of how good do you want it to look vs. small file size.... anything else will take much more time (export individual frames, then import into FW, then optimize/export, then paste into layers, then export as animated gif...

Your post is confusing. If you got laid off, how come you are on job as yet?
Have you found a new job? Are you working on new H1 or EAD?
Please clarify before I can answer wisely.

I am sorry while i was writing my initial post i missed adding NOT,
"As I am NOT on job at present, I can not produce any client letter at consulate in case if they ask. "
Let me add more on my scenario, I don't know how correct to use the word "laid off", my contract was ended in DEC-08 with client, but still my H1B holding company is paying me and said that they will support sending me all needed documents for H1B extension Stamping, asked me to take a vacation for a month or so (as any way i am going back to India for extension).
As "LostInGCProcess" said as long as my company is paying me, Will i have chances to get my extension stamping? or Shall I have to be on the job with Client and have to carry a letter of proof showing which client i work for?

My wife collected her's from VFS but they do not give it out the same day either at the consulate or the VFS. The earliest I guess is 3 PM the next day that you can collect it.

I remember getting a similar email for H1B some 2-3 years back even though my H1 was approved and I already received the I797. No issues though, they just sent another I797. :)
I guess this can happen if their Database was restored to an older backup. So they had to go thru some of the processing again.

no u cant, u would need to take and infopass appointment, but you could talk to cust care and open an SR first.
to talk to an IO at the texas service center use the following
Call 1-800-375-5283
Press 1
Press 2
Press 2
Press 6
Press 1
Now enter your receipt number
press 1
press 1 (now listen to the case update info)
press 3
press 4
(now if you listen a male voice prompting you to hold the call that means the call is going to IOs desk, if it says no IO is available, it will redirect it to NSC, you can hang up and try the next morning)
remember u will have to call in the moring before 11.30 to be able to talk to an IO.

I just got notice that my cards have been sent for production for my family and I with the exception of my 3 year old son. They have asked for an RFE for him. Has anyone come across this issue? I assume its something basic like photo or updated medical?? Please help.

Make sure that everyone in the family who has a pendng 485 has the travel document (AP); otherwise 485 will be considered abandoned.
If you are traveling by road and the trip is < 30 days, just use Automatic visa revalidation and do not surrender I 94 and come back on the old I 94.
If you are travelling by air or if trip is > 30 days, surrender I 94 and you can enter any way (on H1/H4 or AP does not matter as long as everyone HAS an AP).
Good Luck with your trip.

Hello All,
My I485 was filed at TSC and received date is July 26,2007 and notice date is sept 19,2007. MY EAD and AP and other finger prints are done after two months of filed. My priority date (Jun10, 2003) is current for last two months and it is going to retogress after this month end.There is no update for I485 for me and my wife. Now processing times for TSC shows they are working on Aug 08, 2007 filers. In this case cane youguys advice me on following things?
1. Is it good to take Info pass appointment and go for office before end of this month (as it is going to retrogress) and find out status? Before info pass do i need to get any other enquiry?
2. Processing dates for TSC-I485 shows Aug 08, 2007. Is this date recevied date or I485-Notice date?
3.Does Info-pass enquiry cause any negative effects on my I485 processing?
4. Any other guys in the same boat and what you guys are doing?
I really appreciate your advice. Thanks in advance for your good work.
If your case is approvable - it gets approved. Just because you take an infopass - your case will not get denied.

I try to get one nice piece of equipment each year if I can afford it...
Sometimes even when I can't :confused:
I am thinking next year I would like one of the broad range zoom lenses, a camera and one lense is a lot easier to carry on a trip. Prices are not that bad on them. oh.. that is if I have a job, who knows what is going to happen.

Few months ago while googling about GC related stuff I came across a link, which, after going through few subsequent links, lead me to a link on the dol website from where I downloaded these databases. They are very huge (> 30 MB) so if you tell me (PM) you employer name and PD then I can look through the database and let you know the job title and code.

I called teh 800 number 1-800-375-5283 then looked for the option for problem with the case .....then 9 and then back to 2 where I got hold of CR.
